Marketing Communications Specialist

Join our global team as a Marketing Communications Specialist to strengthen NXLog’s brand presence and shape success in the cybersecurity industry. We’re looking for a proactive, dynamic professional with a passion for communications, who excels at building media relationships, organizing events, and social media management. You will play a key part in shaping how NXLog is perceived in the cybersecurity and log management field. 

Responsibilities:  

  • Build and maintain relationships with key media contacts and industry analysts. 

  • Pitch story ideas, arrange media coverage, and manage press inquiries to enhance the visibility of NXLog in the media    

  • Organize and manage NXLog's presence at industry conferences and other events.  Develop event marketing materials, coordinate logistics, and ensure follow-up with leads generated from events.    

  • Organize NXLog webinars, coordinate scheduling, technical setup, rehearsals, and live hosting.  

  • Build and maintain relationships with key influencers, develop programs, and coordinate content creation and distribution.   

  • Develop and implement social media tactics to increase engagement and followers on platforms like LinkedIn and Facebook.   

  • Create and schedule regular social media posts that align with marketing campaigns and company news.   

  • Find and develop sponsorship and partnership opportunities    

  • Find opportunities for the product/company awards   

  • Develop and produce content for the website's news, company-related sections, social media, newsletters, and press releases.   

  • Develop and implement crisis communication plans to manage negative publicity or incidents. 

Qualifications:  

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.  

  • 4-6 years of experience in marketing communications, preferably in the cybersecurity industry.  

  • Strong project management and organizational skills.  

  • Excellent communication skills. 

  • Proficiency in using marketing tools and platforms (e.g., social media management tools and tools for live events).  

  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.  

  • Knowledge of the log management and cybersecurity industry is a plus.  

  • Ability to adapt to an ever-changing environment.  

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with media and industry influencers.
